Job Description MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Job Title - Maintenance Engineer Salary: £40,000 -rising to £44,000 Shift: Rotating 4-week shift pattern – Week 1 & 2: 6am-2pm / Week 3: Sunday-Thursday 10pm-6am / Week 4: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading manufacturing business with a busy, high-volume production facility, producing around 2,000 units per day. The company is committed to investing in its engineers, with a strong training budget and opportunities to develop your skills through further qualifications, including Level 4 Injection Moulding courses and electrical training. There may also be opportunities to travel to Spain for specialist training. You will be responsible for carrying out planned preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance across the factory, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency. You will work on a wide range of equipment including injection moulding machines, robots, vacuum pumps and systems, granulators, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, as well as the wider factory facilities. The role will suit a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias, looking for a hands-on position with excellent opportunities to develop technically. Sector – Manufacturing / Factory Maintenance Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer Maintenance experience within an manufacturing environment. Minimum Level 3 engineering qualification. Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer. Experience with injection moulding machinery. Previous experience within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Ex-forces engineering experience is welcomed.
