We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to join our growing engineering team, covering customer sites across Yorkshire.

This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong industrial background, particularly within environments such as print, paper, recycling, plastics, injection moulding, or similar manufacturing sectors. Experience in food or pharmaceutical manufacturing is highly desirable, though strong engineers from other regulated or industrial environments are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, maintain and fault-find on industrial machinery at customer sites
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown support
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
  • Complete service reports and liaise professionally with customers
  • Work independently while representing the company on-site

Ideal Background

  • Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
  • Industrial experience within print, paper, recycling, plastics, injection moulding or similar
  • Food or pharmaceutical industry experience advantageous but not essential
  • Strong fault-finding skills (mechanical and/or electrical)
  • Relevant engineering qualification or time-served apprenticeship
  • Full UK driving licence
