The site operates a range of manufacturing processes, including PVC injection moulding and extrusion, alongside associated production machinery, compressed air systems and cooling water systems. You will be responsible for carrying out mechanical workshop activities, repairs, maintenance and the production of components to support the manufacturing operation. This is a hands-on role working as part of a small engineering team, where you will be expected to work to tight deadlines whilst maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy and safety. Sector – Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Workshop Mechanical Engineer Mechanical engineering or workshop engineering experience within an industrial manufacturing environment. Desirable Requirements for the Workshop Mechanical Engineer Experience with CNC machining. Experience working with injection moulding or extrusion machinery. Experience within a toolroom or engineering workshop environment. Experience working as a Mechanical Engineer in the UK.
