Overview
Field Service Engineer – FLT and MHE
Location: Covering Northampton
Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 (Depending on Experience) + Overtime
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)
Role
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join a leading materials handling business, servicing and repairing forklift trucks and a range of other Material Handling Equipment (MHE) at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service and repair forklift trucks and other MHE at customer sites
- Carry out diagnostics, fault finding and repairs to component level
- Ensure high standards of customer service and workmanship
Key Requirements
- Strong mechanical background – ideally from forklifts, automotive, plant or similar
- Recognised mechanical engineering qualification (NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Previous field service experience is advantageous but not essential
