Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical background looking for a new challenge in a fast-paced and growing environment? We are currently recruiting for a leading manufacturer in County Durham who are looking to expand their Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a forward-thinking business offering long-term stability, excellent training opportunities, and a highly competitive salary of up to £45,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on a wide range of production equipment
  • Quickly diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise downtime
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety and company procedures
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the site
  • Accurately record all maintenance activity using the CMMS system

About You:

  • Time-served or qualified in Electrical Engineering (Apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND or equivalent)
  • Strong electrical fault-finding skills (PLCs, sensors, motors, control panels, etc.)
  • Multi-skilled with some mechanical ability
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, FMCG, or industrial environment
  • Comfortable working Panama days & nights (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off)
  • Proactive, reliable, and a strong team player
