The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.

A proactive and electrically biased Maintenance Engineer is required to join a well-established engineering team at a fully automated, SCADA-controlled production site operating 24/7. You will work as part of a team of 3 engineers per shift, ensuring plant and equipment run reliably and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on a wide range of plant and machinery
  • Support optimal machine performance and reduce downtime
  • Perform routine site walk arounds for general facility checks (leaks, alarms, switches)
  • Mechanical work including replacing beater bars, bearings, chains, belts, sprockets, and ensuring proper alignment
  • Assist in commissioning new production lines

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Electrically biased with strong mechanical competence
  • Electrical Qualification
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • Comfortable working at height and in physically demanding conditions
  • Experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
