MULTI-SKILLED MAINTENANCE ENGINEER Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Multi-Skilled – Electrical Bias) Location: Wednesbury, West Midlands Salary: £50,000 (OTE £56,000+) Shift: Days (Mon-Fri, No Nights) Job Role of the Maintenance Engineer A fantastic opportunity has become available for a hands-on, proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a fast-growing FMCG manufacturing site with recent investment and further plans for new machinery. This is a great role for someone who enjoys getting to root cause, driving improvements, and keeping a busy production environment running smoothly. You’ll be responsible for reactive and planned maintenance across production machinery including filling, can-seaming, packing and blow moulding equipment, supporting reliability and minimising downtime. Sector – Factory Maintenance (Food Manufacturing) Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Maintenance Engineer Multi-skilled maintenance experience with an electrical bias within an industrial/manufacturing environment Strong experience with planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced factory Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer Strong electrical fault-finding (plus solid mechanical ability) Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) If non-UK qualification, equivalency may be required A proactive attitude—someone who enjoys improvements and problem-solving Desirable Requirements for the Maintenance Engineer Backgrounds considered, including Forces Experience within UK manufacturing (food experience beneficial but not essential) The Maintenance Engineer will benefit from: 25 days holiday + bank holidays Company pension (3–5%) EAP (Employee Assistance Programme) PPE provided Monthly pay Stable employer with investment and machinery upgrades planned Interested?
