Job Title: Contract Fabricator Location: Bedford Salary: £20 per hour Shift: To be confirmed Contract: Temporary contract Job Role of the Contract Fabricator We are recruiting for a Contract Fabricator to work within the food industry in Bedford. This Contract Fabricator role will involve fabrication work supporting equipment and facilities within a food production environment. The Contract Fabricator will work from engineering drawings, carry out fabrication and repairs, and ensure all work meets the site’s quality, hygiene and health and safety standards. Sector – Food Manufacturing Non-Negotiable Requirements Previous experience working as a Fabricator. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. Ability to work safely and complete fabrication work to a high standard. Requirements Experience using fabrication tools and workshop equipment. Strong practical skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and alongside the site team. Awareness of health and safety requirements within a manufacturing environment. Desirable Requirements Previous fabrication experience within food manufacturing. Experience working with stainless steel. Relevant welding and fabrication qualifications. Benefits £20 per hour.
