An established manufacturing site is seeking an innovative and proactive Maintenance Engineer to support production through effective planned and reactive maintenance. This is a critical role within a large-scale, continuous process environment, working on specialist production lines and complex machinery. The position has a strong focus on planned preventative maintenance and continuous improvement, while still requiring the ability to respond quickly and effectively to breakdowns.
Skills required for Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- You will be responsible for maintaining plant and services to ensure maximum performance, efficiency, and safety across production lines.
- 60% planned preventative maintenance / 40% reactive maintenance.
- Carry out maintenance on production machinery, plant, and site services.
- Respond to and resolve breakdowns to minimise downtime.
- Support installation work alongside a dedicated project team.
- Must be apprentice trained.
- Electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and repairs on production machinery.
- PLC fault-finding and diagnostics.
- Work on: Electrical and control panels, Motors and motor control circuits, Sensors and instrumentation, Inverters, relays, and contactors.
- Mechanical maintenance and inspection of processing machinery.
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and carrying out repairs.
- Preventative maintenance to reduce unplanned downtime.
- Working on moving parts, drives, and process equipment.
The Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer will benefit from:
