SHIFT MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Salary: £52,130 (OTE £60,000+)
Location: Matlock, Derbyshire
Job Type: Permanent
Shift Pattern: 4 On 4 Off Days and Nights
BRAND NEW opportunity to join a well-established business within heavy industry / recycling. Due to continued demand and workload, the site is looking to add an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to the shift team. You’ll be working in a small, close-knit maintenance function, partnered alongside an electrician, carrying out PPM and breakdowns on varied industrial plant.
Skills required for the Shift Mechanical Engineer
- Strong hands-on maintenance background in an industrial / heavy engineering environment
- Good mechanical fault-finding skills across:
- Bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, rollers
- Hydraulics & pneumatics
- Welding / fabrication (advantageous)
Machinery / Plant: Crushers, conveyors, screening equipment, furnace, moulds (ingot), wire & stripper.
