An excellent opportunity has become available for a qualified maintenance engineer to work for a large blue chip manufacturing company based near Consett. The Maintenance Engineer will benefit by working for an excellent company that takes pride in supporting and developing engineers on a regular basis.
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance, responding to breakdowns, completing planned preventative maintenance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across site machinery.
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast-paced industrial factory.
- Electrical and mechanical fault-finding experience.
- Electrical Qualification.
- Experience working within a manufacturing environment.
Desirable Requirements for the Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer:
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the Manufacturing sector.
- Experience with working on PLCs, ideally being able to fault find using inputs and outputs.
