We are seeking a versatile Technical Business Analyst / Application Developer to support the build of a broker portal on the Websure Policy Administration System. This role sits across business analysis, system configuration, and technical delivery, working closely with developers, business stakeholders, and end users. The successful candidate will be responsible for both requirements analysis and hands-on technical delivery, including SQL development, system configuration, and reporting. This is a hybrid role requiring someone confident working across the full lifecycle from requirements gathering through to implementation and support. It is a mandatory requirement that candidates have experience supporting web portal builds on a Policy Administration System within the London Market. Websure experience is highly advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the design, build, and enhancement of a broker portal on Websure
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical specifications
  • Build and execute SQL queries for reporting, analysis, and data validation
  • Configure insurance systems to meet client and business requirements
  • Develop MI and operational reports using tools such as Crystal Reports and MS Report Builder
  • Work closely with developers, testers, and business users to deliver effective solutions
  • Support system testing including test planning, execution, and defect resolution
  • Assist with implementation and deployment of system changes
  • Produce documentation including specifications, user guides, and technical documents

Key Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills with experience in querying, reporting, and data analysis
  • Proven experience working with insurance platforms / Policy Administration Systems (PAS) - Websure highly advantageous
  • Experience supporting web portal or digital builds within a PAS environment is essential
  • Strong experience within the Lloyd's / London Market is required
  • Ability to configure systems based on business requirements
  • Strong capability in interpreting and documenting complex business requirements
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills with ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables
