I'm partnering with a leading Specialty Insurance organisation undergoing significant growth and continuous improvement across the business. We're looking for an experienced and detail‑focused DLP (Data Loss Prevention) Analyst to join the CISO function, where you'll play a critical role in protecting highly sensitive data across the enterprise.
In this role, you'll act as the first line of investigation, overseeing monitoring, analysis, and response to DLP alerts while supporting the strategic development of the organisation's data security capabilities. This is a high‑impact position suited to someone who thrives in regulated environments and understands the complexities of managing data risk at scale.
Please note: This role is Hybrid and requires 3 days per week in the office. Only candidates with experience in Financial Services or other highly regulated industries will be considered.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development, optimisation, and management of the organisation's DLP environment.
- Implement and validate selected DLP tools, ensuring correct configuration and effectiveness.
- Define, review, and maintain robust DLP policies.
- Monitor, investigate, and analyse alerts across multiple DLP platforms.
- Prioritise incidents based on risk levels and escalate high‑risk cases as required.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive continuous improvement of DLP systems and processes.
- Produce clear documentation and contribute to ongoing policy enhancements.
- Drive awareness initiatives and identify training opportunities to reduce data breach incidents.
- Work closely with third parties and internal teams to ensure regulatory and business‑specific requirements are met.
- Proven background in Security Operations with specific experience in DLP‑focused roles.
- Hands‑on experience with a range of DLP technologies (e.g., Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview).
- Strong understanding of data classification standards and regulatory requirements.
- Experience using SIEM and security incident management tooling.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to assess risk quickly and accurately.
