Pioneer People are looking for a passionate and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join our team in Kings Norton. We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable professional who is happy to go above and beyond to support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and progress in a positive and nurturing secondary school environment. This role is ideal for a confident Food Technology Teacher, with strong experience in KS3 and KS4.

Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification)
- Previous experience teaching in a school setting (1-2 years minimum preferred)
- A DBS on the Update Service
- Strong understanding of the National Curriculum
- Confident knowledge of assessment, planning, and differentiation to meet a range of learning needs
- Clear understanding of safeguarding procedures and confidence to report concerns
- A genuine passion for teaching and supporting children to achieve their potential
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons adapted to meet a wide range of needs and abilities
- Create a safe, structured, and inclusive practical learning environment, following food hygiene and health & safety standards
- Assess, track, and report on pupil progress, celebrating achievement and promoting independence and life skills
- Manage classroom routines, behaviour, and practical equipment to ensure a safe and positive learning experience
