We're working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Solihull that are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a long-term basis. These are fantastic opportunities for candidates who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for consistency in a school where they can build strong relationships and become part of the team.
The Role
You’ll be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with a range of Special Educational Needs, including:
- Autism (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs
- SEMH
- Moderate to Complex Learning Needs
Depending on the school, you’ll provide 1:1 support, work with small intervention groups, or support pupils within the classroom to help them achieve both academically and socially.
We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant within a primary school
- Confidence supporting children with additional needs
- Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
- A calm, patient and adaptable approach
- A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
