Pioneer People are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Practitioners Level 3 for a well-established nursery in Birmingham. The setting provides high-quality early years education and a nurturing environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years, and is seeking someone who shares its passion for helping children thrive.
These full-time and part-time roles offer competitive pay and a great opportunity to further develop your career in childcare. Pioneer People are also offering a FREE Level 3 Paediatric First Aid course which is valid for three years and supports your qualification to all Level 3 qualified candidates that complete a full registration!
Key Benefits Include:- Competitive Pay (between £13.65-14.35)
- Previous experience in a childcare setting (1-2 years minimum)
- NVQ Level 3 in Childcare
- DBS on the update service (or willing to get one)
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Understanding of safeguarding procedures and the confidence to report concerns
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willing to get one)
- A passion for working with children and helping them develop in a nurturing environment
- Maintaining attentiveness and staying alert to the needs and safety of the children.
- Supporting and caring for children in a safe and stimulating environment
- Engaging in room-based activities such as observations, journals, and planning activities
- Assisting with daily routines, ensuring the needs of each child are met
- Building positive relationships with children and parents
- Supporting a team of childcare practitioners
