Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a long-term role where you can make a real difference?

We're working with a number of welcoming and supportive primary schools in Northfield that are looking for experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams on a long-term basis.

These are fantastic opportunities for candidates who are passionate about supporting children with additional needs and are looking for consistency in a school where they can build strong relationships and become part of the team.

The Role

You'll be supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2 with a range of Special Educational Needs, including:

  • Autism (ASC)
  • ADHD
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs
  • SEMH
  • Moderate to Complex Learning Needs

Depending on the school, you'll provide 1:1 support, work with small intervention groups, or support pupils within the classroom to help them achieve both academically and socially.

  • Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant within a primary school
  • Confidence supporting children with additional needs
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills
  • A calm, patient and adaptable approach
  • A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential
