Key Responsibilities * Deliver pre-planned lessons and learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes. * Provide classroom cover and supervise pupils in the absence of the class teacher, where appropriate. * Support teachers with lesson preparation, planning and assessment. * Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. * Adapt activities to meet the needs of pupils with different abilities and learning requirements. * Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and promote an inclusive learning environment. * Manage classroom behaviour effectively and encourage positive engagement. * Work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff. * Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times. Requirements * Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA. * A relevant HLTA qualification or equivalent experience, where required. * Confidence leading learning activities and managing classroom behaviour. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * The ability to work independently and use initiative. * A flexible, patient and professional approach. * A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare.
