Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years’ experience in an early years or childcare setting
- QTS Qualification
- DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply for one)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and confidence reporting concerns
- Paediatric First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a safe, engaging and stimulating learning environment
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support children’s development
- Complete observations, learning journals and activity planning
- Support children’s routines including personal care, mealtimes and play
- Maintain high levels of attentiveness and child safety awareness
- Build strong relationships with children, parents and carers
- Work collaboratively as part of a supportive early years team
