Night Shift Meat Processor in Carlisle

We are looking for a part time Night Shift Meat Order Processor to join the existing butchery department at our depot on Rosehill Industrial Estate. The role is fast paced and deadline driven.

Main duties include:

• Working in the refrigerated factory and collecting products from fridges and packaging from store areas; some brief cold store work picking stock from the freezer.
• Working efficiently preparing fresh meat orders to our customer\’s specification for next day delivery.
• Stock replenishment maintaining stock levels enabling the smooth running of the department.
• Working in line with Health & Safety, Food safety & Hygiene, FIFO, Traceability and Tidy as you Go policies.

All necessary training is given by our experienced team in the Pioneer way of preparing meat and the machinery used to complete the orders.

Shift: Sunday, Thursday and Friday + extra shifts for holiday cover.

Hours: 8:00pm – 4:30am

Pay: £13.66 per hour basic, £15.66 any hours worked over 40.

Breaks: 10:00am = 15 minutes – paid, 12:30am = 30 minutes – unpaid lunch, 03:15am = 15 minutes – paid

Bring your own lunch as once we are on site we stay on site for security reasons. Microwaves, fridges, tea and coffee are supplied in the canteens so bring your own mug.

Please note you need to be at least 18 years old to work night shift.
