About the role As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Financial Controller to join us! This is a fixed‑term contract role, which will commence in July and will run for a minimum of 9 months, potentially extending past this into a year.
Responsibilities
- Play a key role in building a best‑in‑class finance function by strengthening processes, systems, and ways of working.
- Own the quality, accuracy, and integrity of accounting data, ensuring strong audit readiness and regulatory compliance.
- Drive confidence in financial systems and reporting for the CFO and senior leadership team.
- Responsible for auditing.
- Oversee and document day‑to‑day operational finance processes, including invoicing, collections, payables, and payroll.
- Lead efficient weekly and monthly reporting, including a robust month‑end close and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Ensure timely completion of tax, statutory, and financial reporting requirements.
A little bit about you
- Newly qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA), with 3+ years audit experience.
- Hands‑on experience using ERP system such as Sage Intacct, SAP, Vision, NetSuite.
- Strong understanding of the Financial Controller role and accountability across core finance operations and reporting.
- Confident relationship‑builder with the ability to partner beyond Finance and influence a range of stakeholders.
- Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast‑paced environment.
- Solid knowledge of statutory reporting requirements for legal entities with experience of taking end‑to‑end ownership.
