A Little Bit About Us... Pion produces award-winning technology for the biggest retailers on the planet, connecting them with the youth market. We're constantly innovating to offer new solutions that satisfy our consumers, drive ROI for our clients, and create an empowering workplace for our employees.

Life at Pion Where People Thrive At Pion, we're driven by big ideas and bold thinkers. Our purpose is clear: We make it possible to reward those who shape our world, from Students to Healthcare workers and more. That mission demands diverse perspectives and a culture where everyone belongs. Our people power everything we do from innovation to collaboration. We're here to break down barriers and build a space where everyone can grow, learn, and thrive—because affordability starts with empowered people.

As a result of our incredible success and growth, we are looking for a Salesforce & GTM Systems Architect to join us.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Own Salesforce day to day and lead how it develops as Pion grows — configuration, custom objects, fields, validation rules, flows and approval processes.
  • Design, build and maintain Salesforce solutions, from complex flows and screen flows to custom objects, reports, dashboards and third-party integrations, solving our most significant commercial problems.
  • Configure and adapt Salesforce and our wider go-to-market stack to support how Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, Data and Finance actually work.
  • Lead complex cross-functional initiatives end to end, from technical scoping through build.
  • Follow development lifecycle best practice, releasing from sandbox to production on a regular schedule.

Requirements:

  • Four or more years hands-on Salesforce admin experience with commercial impact you can point to, and Salesforce Certified Administrator or equivalent proven experience.
  • Expert in Flow Builder, and strong across validation rules, approval processes, assignment rules, custom objects, fields, formulas, page layouts, record types, reports and dashboards.
  • Confident across the core Sales Cloud objects: Leads, Accounts, Opportunities, Campaigns and Cases.
  • You've led complex cross-functional builds end to end, from scoping through build — not just config tweaks — including integrations you've built and maintained yourself.
  • Strong data discipline: import, export, dedup, a real governance framework, and reporting built around pipeline, conversion and forecasting.
  • Commercially minded, proactive and autonomous. You prioritise on impact rather than who asked loudest, work back from the business outcome, and communicate clearly with stakeholders across Sales, CS, Finance and Data.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary.
  • 30 days annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Accredited 'Great Place To Work' company in three categories.
  • Commitment to personal development and career growth, coaching workshops and progression plans.
  • Remote-first working environment.
  • Flexible working hours (start between 8-10am and finish between 4:30pm-6:30pm).
  • Work from abroad up to 180 days a year (subject to approval).
  • Focus on welfare: monthly wellness allowance, gym memberships, access to mental health first aiders, a health cash plan and more.
  • Access to incredible partnership discounts for the biggest brands in the world.
  • £200 work from home set up allowance to put towards your at-home working space.

Due to the high volume of applicants, we can only respond to shortlisted applicants. By submitting your application, you agree that Pion may collect your personal data for recruiting, global organisation planning, and related purposes.

How to prepare for a job interview at Pion

✨Brush Up on Your Coding Skills

For a full-time software engineering role, it's crucial that we stay sharp with our coding abilities. Expect technical questions that might involve solving problems on the spot or discussing algorithms. Practise on platforms like LeetCode or HackerRank to get comfortable with the types of questions that often come up.

✨Know Your Tools and Frameworks

Make sure we’re well-acquainted with the tools and technologies listed in the job description. Familiarise ourselves with any specific frameworks or programming languages mentioned. If Pion uses React or Node.js, for instance, be ready to discuss how we’ve used them in previous projects or coursework.

✨Showcase Your Projects

Bring along a portfolio that highlights our best work. This could be code samples, GitHub repositories, or any side projects we’ve built. Make sure we can talk through our thought process for each project, especially the challenges we faced and how we solved them—this shows our problem-solving skills in action.

✨Prepare for Behavioural Questions

While technical skills are key, full-time positions also require cultural fit. Be ready to discuss our previous experiences and how we handle teamwork, conflict, and deadlines. Brush up on the STAR method—Situation, Task, Action, Result—to clearly articulate our past experiences when discussing how we've contributed to a team.
