As a Senior Manager, Programmatic Sales, you will be instrumental in shaping the sales strategy for our programmatic ad products. This includes building and leading a team focused on increasing adoption and achieving sustained revenue growth.

You will collaborate closely with product marketing and product leadership to implement sales strategies, gather customer feedback, and influence our product roadmap to ensure future investment in our solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building and deepening relationships with client executives, programmatic partners, and regional leaders to champion Pinterest’s programmatic value.
  • Leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing, diverse sales team focused on programmatic and AdTech solutions.
  • Designing and executing sales strategies, plans, and programs to drive programmatic 3P demand and AdTech adoption across key markets.
  • Serving as a thought leader, representing Pinterest at industry events and in executive-level client meetings globally.
  • Developing and applying deep knowledge of the programmatic advertising ecosystem, including demand-side platform (DSPs), server-side platform (SSPs), auction mechanics, and deal types, to inform go-to-market strategy and deliver scalable client solutions.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales Operations, Product, Measurement, Agency, Creative, Media Strategy, Product, and Engineering) to create integrated, full-funnel programmatic marketing solutions and best practices.
  • Analysing key performance indicators, tracking delivery and client success, and evolving sales playbooks to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Creating scalable solutions by working with internal partners to prioritise product needs, share insights, and drive client adoption of new offerings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as digital media or sales, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Deep knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, and the full ad tech landscape (DSPs, SSPs, auction mechanics, deal structures).
  • Strong understanding of data and measurement solutions including Clean Rooms.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered advertising solutions, including machine learning-driven targeting, automated bidding, and generative AI applications, with the ability to translate these capabilities into compelling client value propositions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales management within online advertising, programmatic ecosystems, and ad tech.
  • Passionate about Pinterest’s mission, committed to innovation, delivering client value, and acting as a trusted advisor.
  • 10+ years of experience in digital media and ad tech, including 5+ years leading high-performing teams in large-scale management roles.
  • Successful history of managing C-level partnerships, leading high-impact initiatives, and adapting to global, evolving business needs.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute go-to-market strategies that drive programmatic and AdTech growth and revenue.
  • Exceptional collaborator and communicator, able to inspire teams, align stakeholders, and influence decisions in fast-paced, matrixed environments.
  • Experienced in building efficient workflows and scalable processes to improve team and client success.
