We’re looking for a Director, Multi-Vertical (CPG, Tech, Auto, Travel, Telco, Ents, QSR, FinServe, Govt), UK to lead our monetisation efforts across the vertical. Reporting to the UK Managing Director, you'll be responsible for building this multi-vertical business in one of EMEA’s largest markets. You will be working closely with cross-functional partners to drive business results for our clients while delivering growth. You will be managing a team of senior sellers and be part of the UK Senior Leadership Team. You will be representing Pinterest externally and be our voice in the industry on relevant topics. This is a full-time position based in the UK, and our office is in London.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead our sales strategy and execution for the multi-vertical business in the UK.
  • Develop market and competitive assessments to identify and drive new opportunities for Pinterest in the UK.
  • Build on established relationships and develop new relationships with partners’ executive and operational teams and industry associations.
  • Close strategic partnerships and scale revenue with advertisers.
  • Drive sales operational excellence across key metrics and leading sales indicators according to annual and quarterly business plan.
  • Lead the team by building, training and motivating a high-performing, diverse sales team based on an inclusive, positive culture.
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations and Measurement teams to analyse data trends and client performance, as to scale shared learnings and best practices to grow client’s business through Pinterest solutions.
  • As part of our UK leadership team, contribute to the success of the country through collaborating across verticals and teams.
  • Champion the thoughtful use of AI-driven tools and insights to improve sales effectiveness, client strategy, and team productivity across the business.
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with key media agencies and agency stakeholders to unlock growth opportunities, influence planning, and drive stronger outcomes for clients and Pinterest.
  • Act as an external spokesperson and champion our value proposition in the UK.

What we're looking for:

  • 15 or more years of experience in the digital media industry, with 7 or more years of management experience.
  • Strong team player with experience in successfully leading marketing or sales teams.
  • Ability to work with executive level business and marketing leaders within client organisations.
  • Established industry leader with strong network amongst advertiser and client companies.
  • Strong understanding of performance, data, and measurement landscapes, with demonstrated experience using data and trends to develop winning strategies.
  • Strong focus on operational excellence by having introduced new performance measures, processes, and systems.
  • You have a strong understanding of how AI is shaping digital advertising, marketing, and sales leadership, and can translate that knowledge into practical business opportunities.
  • Able to clearly articulate Pinterest’s role across the full marketing funnel—awareness, consideration, and conversion—with a particular emphasis on lower-funnel performance, measurable business outcomes, and the unique impact of Pinterest’s visual search and discovery capabilities.
  • Outstanding go-to-market strategy and operational rigour to drive the successful execution of the sales business priorities.
  • Strong leadership skills that inspire, drive urgency and challenge sales teams to think big and drive transformational thinking to advance team performance, health, and an inclusive culture.
  • Strong cross-functional partnership skills to drive discussions with the product and engineering teams driving alignment.
  • Have opinions about the technology trade-offs.
  • Strong influencing skills to build and direct sales priorities and decisions.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills with the ability to translate insights, product information, and data into key client objectives.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a growth environment and incubating new businesses.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the digital measurement landscape, including MTA & MMM, and how to apply these frameworks to evaluate and optimise campaign performance.
  • Experience using or leading teams that use AI-powered tools for forecasting, client planning, workflow efficiency, or insight generation is a strong advantage.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Marketing, Business or Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • A passion for Pinterest and its mission.

In-Office Requirement Statement: We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection. This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 2 times per week and therefore needs to be in a commutable distance from our London office.
