Position Overview: We are seeking a Data Analyst II for our Measurement Research team within the Partner Measurement organization. This role involves developing research and tools to demonstrate Pinterest’s value to advertisers in a dynamic industry landscape. The team focuses on analyzing advertising performance using various measurement methodologies (e.g., MMM, MTA, MMT, Brand Lift), creating reporting tools, visualizations, and providing analytical insights to support the broader Partner Measurement team.

What you’ll do:

  • Conduct analyses of internal and third-party data to generate insights on advertising performance.
  • Utilize internal data and tools to facilitate research collaborations.
  • Partner with external organizations to conduct research projects.
  • Develop tools for Partner Measurement and Sellers to generate insights at scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product, BI, marketing) to communicate findings internally and externally.

What we’re looking for:

  • Knowledge of measurement research methodologies (MMM, MTA, Brand Lift, Site Analytics, MMT).
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis to evaluate advertising performance.
  • Proficiency in SQL or similar languages for data extraction and manipulation.
  • Experience with Python for data analysis.
  • Curiosity about the evolving advertising landscape.
  • Creativity in developing research initiatives and packaging insights for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to communicate complex information effectively to measurement-literate audiences.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience in Advertising Measurement.

Compensation and Inclusion: Base salary range for US-based applicants: $100,937 — $207,811 USD. The position is eligible for equity.
