Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. Duties may include:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights on roads.
- Managing traffic flow, ensuring public compliance.
- Reporting to site or operations manager.
- Being reliable with a good attitude.
- Reading CAD traffic management drawings.
- Maintaining and removing traffic management within required timescales.
- Assisting with diversion of traffic.
- Ensuring safe and effective teamwork.
- Complying with the Health & Safety Act and RAMS.
- Unloading/loading materials.
- Following method statements and risk assessments.
- Reporting plant and vehicle defects.
Qualifications:
- Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
- Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
