About us Pinson TM are working with some of the largest traffic management companies across the UK, and due to an increase in work, we are recruiting for Trainee & Qualified Traffic Management Operatives.
Scope of Role:
- Trainee Operatives & Qualified Operatives will work with both direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.
- Setting up temporary traffic lights on required roads.
- Managing traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring the public abides by the rules.
- Reporting anything necessary to site or operations manager.
- Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
- Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
- Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales.
- Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
- Ensuring the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and required quality.
- Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
- Being aware and complying with the provided RAMS.
- Helping with unloading/loading of materials.
- Ensuring safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
Requirements:
- All candidates must have experience in one or more of the following positions: TTMBC Operative.
Skills & Experience:
- Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
- Ability to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
