The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both direct labour and sub‑contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. Duties may include:

  • Setting up temporary traffic lights at required roads
  • Managing traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights and ensuring the public abides by the control
  • Reporting any necessary information to the site or operations manager
  • Being reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
  • Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
  • Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales
  • Assisting with the diversion of traffic
  • Ensuring the team works safely and effectively to achieve optimum output and the required quality
  • Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
  • Being aware of and complying with the provided RAMS
  • Assisting with the unloading/loading of materials
  • Ensuring safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Reporting plant and vehicle defects
  • Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
  • Passing a Drugs & Alcohol Check
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
