The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both direct labour and sub‑contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. Duties may include:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights at required roads
- Managing traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights and ensuring the public abides by the control
- Reporting any necessary information to the site or operations manager
- Being reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
- Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
- Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales
- Assisting with the diversion of traffic
- Ensuring the team works safely and effectively to achieve optimum output and the required quality
- Ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
- Being aware of and complying with the provided RAMS
- Assisting with the unloading/loading of materials
- Ensuring safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Reporting plant and vehicle defects
- Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
- Passing a Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Right to work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
