Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both direct labour and sub-contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights at required roads.
- Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights, ensuring the public abides by them.
- Reporting any necessary information to the site or operations manager.
- Being reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work.
- Reading and interpreting CAD traffic management drawings.
- Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required time scales.
- Assisting with the diversion of traffic.
- Ensuring the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and required quality.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times.
- Being aware and complying with the provided RAMS.
- Helping with the unloading/loading of materials.
- Ensuring safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
- Reporting plant & vehicle defects.
Qualifications:
- Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications.
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check.
- Right to Work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence (with no more than 6 points).
- Experience in Traffic Management operations, including working with both operatives and drivers.
