- M1 / M2 Operative
- Driver with Traffic Management experience
Scope of Role
Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will be working with both the direct labour and subâcontract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time. Duties may include:
- Setting up temporary traffic lights on roads required
- Managing the traffic flow at the temporary traffic lights ensuring the public abides by this
- Reporting anything necessary to the site or operations manager
- Reliable and dependable with a good attitude to work
- Being able to read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings
- Maintaining and removing traffic management within the required timescales
- Setting up traffic lights
- Assisting with the diversion of traffic
- Ensuring the team works in a safe and effective manner to achieve optimum output and to the required quality
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act at all times
- Being aware and complying with the provided RAMS
- Helping with the unloading/loading of materials
- Ensuring safe working practices are followed as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Reporting plant and vehicle defects
Qualifications & Requirements
- Lantra approved Traffic Management Qualifications
- Be able to pass a Drugs & Alcohol Check
- Right to Work in the UK
- Full UK Driving licence (with no more than 6 points)
