Scope of Role
Qualified M1/M2 Operatives will work with both direct labour and sub‑contract labour, meeting targets and deadlines on time.
Responsibilities
- Set up temporary traffic lights at required roads.
- Manage traffic flow at temporary traffic lights, ensuring the public abides by regulations.
- Report any necessary information to the site or operations manager.
- Read and interpret CAD traffic management drawings.
- Maintain and remove traffic management within required time scales.
- Assist with diversion of traffic.
- Support unloading/loading of materials.
- Report plant and vehicle defects.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety at Work Act and the provided RAMS.
- Perform safe working practices as outlined in Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Qualifications & Requirements
All candidates must have experience in one or more of the following positions: M1 or M2 Operative. We are seeking both operatives and drivers with traffic management experience.
- Lantra approved Traffic Management qualification.
- Pass a Drugs & Alcohol check.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK driving licence with no more than six points.
