Purpose of the role
Our role is centred around the realisation of firm-wide strategy and business plans, ensuring that our commercial plans are robust and our organisation is future-proofed for ongoing success. Achieving consistent and dependable results is paramount, and this is done through the motivation, development, and coaching of a cohesive workforce. Effective change management is essential, and our commitment to coaching ensures that our team is equipped to deliver optimum client service. Additionally, staying aware of industry trends and developments allows us to maintain our competitive edge.
The team may consist of staff from more than one business unit and numbers and content of the group(s) may change from time to time to reflect the current structure of the Firm.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
- Robustly manage performance of the Service in line with HR policies
- Proactively manage capacity and distribution of workloads within the Service
- Advocate correct utilisation of Document Services, challenge non-compliance and address problems and issues in a timely manner
- Manage recruitment process and associated induction for the Service
- Integrate all new starters
- Stringently manage review process
- Prioritise talent management and retention
- Promote importance of networking and building client relationships
- Actively apply 70 20 10 approach to development
- Builds strong relationships with key stakeholders
- Ownership of preparation and circulation of statistics, analysis of trends, addressing concerns with a results driven approach
- Acutely aware of practice group\’s priorities, anticipates challenges and cascades relevant information
- Energetically manage any change process
- Continuously innovate and design to improve service area
- Cultivates continuous improvement through regular team meetings
- Fosters collaboration with wider team to include peers
