We are looking to recruit a talented and ambitious Associate with 2-4 years PQE to join our market‑leading Property Dispute Resolution (PDR) team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded national practice, advising on complex, high‑value and strategically significant property disputes for an exceptional client base. You will work closely with leading Partners and specialists across our UK offices, gaining exposure to a broad range of property litigation matters and cross‑sector disputes. The team is collaborative, supportive and committed to developing its lawyers at every stage of their career.
Responsibilities
- Manage a varied and intellectually stimulating caseload, including commercial property asset management.
- Advise on development‑related risk and strategy on some of the largest developments in the UK, including rights to light, title constraints and vacant possession strategies.
- Work as part of the teams on high‑profile, big‑ticket property litigation.
- Handle cross‑sector / cross‑over property‑related disputes and litigation involving energy, infrastructure, mining, judicial review, planning and electronic communications law.
- Act for a prestigious client base, including Heineken UK, Green Generation Energy Networks Cymru Limited, Motor Fuel Group, Aviva Investors, Harworth Estates Group, Allianz /Liverpool Victoria, Ecclesiastical Insurance Office plc, ESR Group (formerly London & Scottish), E.ON and RWE, CBRE Global Investors, Akelius Group, various Universities, Booker/Tesco, various London Boroughs and other Councils, Homes England, Cellnex UK/On Tower, Edmundson Electrical Limited, Huawei Technologies, Pier House Development Limited, Thames Water, Scudamores Punting Company Limited, JD Wetherspoon, Whitbread/Premier Inn Hotels, Tinsley Bridge Group and Linnaeus Group.
