Overview: We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Pricing Manager to join our global Pricing & Commercial team. This role will play a critical part in shaping the firm’s pricing strategy, supporting partners across all practice groups, and driving profitable, client‑centric pricing outcomes. Operating across the entire international firm, this is a high‑visibility position with significant stakeholder engagement and influence.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Partner with senior leadership, partners, and matter teams to develop pricing strategies that balance client value, competitiveness, and profitability.
  • Lead the development of fee proposals, alternative fee arrangements (AFAs), and commercial models for complex, cross‑border matters.
  • Provide financial and commercial insight to support negotiations with clients and panel teams.
  • Analyse pricing performance, matter profitability, and commercial trends to inform strategic decision‑making.
  • Develop pricing approaches for technology‑enabled legal solutions, ensuring commercial models appropriately reflect the value of innovation, delivery complexity, and client expectations.
  • Support the continuous improvement of pricing tools, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, BD, Legal Project Management, and Practice Group leadership to ensure alignment across the firm.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to partners, providing guidance on pricing best practice and commercial positioning.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in pricing and commercial or similar roles—ideally within law firms or professional services environment.
  • Strong financial modelling skills and the ability to translate data into actionable commercial insight.
  • Confident communicator with the credibility to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and solutions‑focused.

This is a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of three days per week in one of our UK offices. The Pricing remit spans the entire international firm, so flexibility is essential. Flexibility required - the successful candidate may need to start earlier or finish later when required, particularly when supporting partners in other time zones or responding to time‑sensitive client opportunities.
