We’re looking for a proactive and ambitious disputes lawyer to join our top‑tier London team as a Managing Senior Associate (8+ PQE), offering a unique opportunity to shape your role around your strengths and interests.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced disputes lawyer who enjoys a combination of autonomy, high‑quality work and genuine career ownership. Sitting within our integrated Litigation, Regulatory & Tax practice, you’ll be part of a truly global disputes platform – collaborating across offices, sectors and specialisms to deliver strategic, commercially focused solutions to clients worldwide.

What You’ll Do

  • Take a leading role in complex, cross‑border disputes, with autonomy to consider the following:
  • Lead workstreams on high‑value, multi‑jurisdictional disputes
  • Advise clients strategically across the full dispute lifecycle
  • Work across a diverse range of clients and sectors
  • Collaborate with colleagues across our international network
  • Build your own profile through client engagement and thought leadership

What We’re Looking For

  • England & Wales qualified disputes lawyer with upwards of 8 years PQE
  • Experience in high‑value, complex disputes at all levels of the judiciary, specifically the Commercial Court, and experience of cross‑border work gained at another top‑tier City disputes practice
  • Alternatively or additionally, experience working on investor‑state arbitrations brought under bilateral or multilateral investment treaties under one of the following arbitration rules: ICIID Arbitration Rules, ICIID Additional Facility Rules, UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules, Stockholm Chambers of Commerce Rules and others
  • International commercial arbitration experience, including arbitrations under the ICC or LCIA Arbitration Rules
  • Strong technical ability and commercial judgement with the ability to advise both on law and practical solutions in a logical manner
  • The confidence to draft tailored legal advice, complex correspondence, witness statements, and instructions to counsel
  • Able to draft pleadings, skeleton arguments and submissions
  • A team player who is able to establish effective working relationships with colleagues, clients and external organisations in an agile environment
  • A strong work ethic demonstrated by consistently having met standard hours targets
  • Demonstrable track record in successful business development initiatives and a willingness to participate in client secondments
  • Previous client secondments ideal but not essential
  • Client focus and commitment to first‑class service demonstrated by confidence in client relationships
  • Collaborative mindset showing an open mind to all new developments and strategies
