We are recruiting an Early Talent Recruitment Advisor to work with the Graduate Recruitment Manager and wider team, to implement the Early Talent attraction, engagement and recruitment strategy for Pinsent Masons. This role will have a specific focus on our Graduate recruitment – and is known internally as Graduate Recruitment Advisor. This is a broad ranging position that will cover areas such as developing and delivering a calendar of marketing and attraction activity, planning and delivery of graduate attraction and engagement events, working with diversity partners and planning, and delivery of assessment centres including facilitating on the day. This role can be based out of our Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds Offices. Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, and we operate a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Previous experience in a broad Early Talent, Early Careers or Graduate recruitment role, ideally in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, being able to act as a true advisor and challenge senior individuals where appropriate.
  • Ability to understand early talent candidate pipelines, looking at what is working for attraction and sourcing and analysing bottlenecks or challenges to provide innovative solutions.
  • Proven project planning and management skills (management of projects from start to finish will be required).
  • Ability to positively interact with candidates at marketing events and assessment centres.
  • Comfortable making presentations to candidate groups and senior colleagues.
  • Knowledge of diversity and inclusion challenges within early talent market, comfortable discussing and challenging in sensitive situations.
  • Highly organised and skilled at prioritising, managing timelines and keeping stakeholders updated.

What happens next? Once your application has been submitted and reviewed, our Recruitment team will share the outcome with you by email. We typically hold two interview stages per vacancy providing the opportunity to meet two members of the hiring team at each stage. The first stage is typically conducted virtually and the second stage typically in person at the office in which the role would be based. However, we strive to remain flexible depending on the requirements of the role or the candidate.
