We are recruiting an Information Services Officer to provide a legal research enquiries service and regular database training to our key stakeholders. Responsibilities include:

  • Specialist legal research
  • Occasional business research
  • Monitoring future legal developments
  • Promoting legal and business information resources
  • Delivering training sessions
  • Intranet updates
  • Attending team meetings
  • Supporting fee earners with current awareness provision

The role is based out of our Central London office. Standard working hours are 9:30 am–5:30 pm, with a hybrid model of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. Flexible work requests are welcome.

Candidate Overview:

  • Information services experience, including enquiries, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
  • Experience delivering training on online information products and research services.
  • Ability to deliver presentations and training to groups, including senior members of the firm.
  • Expertise with a range of legal databases, from firm‑wide resources to niche products, business databases, and press resources.
  • Commitment to high‑quality customer service in a fast‑changing, demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle a demanding workload.
