The Head of Business Development – Infrastructure & Real Estate plays a strategic and important role alongside sector leadership, with co‑responsibility for marshalling the firm’s resources to support our partners and associates in their pursuit of becoming our clients’ trusted advisers. Responsibilities include:

As this sector is truly global, the role can be based in any UK office, or our Dubai, Singapore or Hong Kong offices. The position reports to the Global Director of Business Development – Groups and Sectors and operates within a highly collaborative, international BD community. Successful applicants will shape growth strategy, lead a high‑performing team and work directly with senior stakeholders. We operate a 3‑days‑in‑the‑office, 2‑days‑from‑home working model, and as an inclusive employer we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.

Candidate Overview

  • Deep knowledge of the Infrastructure & Real Estate markets
  • Proven experience leading business development for a global or regional practice group, sector or division
  • Demonstrable experience leading, motivating and developing high‑performing BD and Marketing teams
  • Extensive business development and marketing experience gained within a legal or professional services environment
  • Track record of managing multiple senior stakeholders and driving growth, supporting partners in winning profitable work, deepening client relationships and building brand in target areas of focus
  • Experience designing and implementing regional/global sales enablement tools (e.g. global templates, playbooks, infographics, hymn sheets, product propositions, digital assets, etc)
  • Leadership of high‑impact business development initiatives combining cross‑practice/cross‑sector collaboration, in pursuit of client relationships, revenues and reputation
  • Proven experience in the design, research and delivery of regional/global thought leadership and activation
  • Experience using data‑driven insight and A.I. tools to inform strategy, improve effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Fluent in both verbal and written English
