We are recruiting a Business Development & Marketing Executive to support our award-winning Vario practice, Alternate Legal Services, in the design, delivery and execution of effective marketing and business development activity. The role will help build brand visibility, drive market engagement, generate pipeline growth and create consistent, compelling messaging that positions Vario as a market leader across Managed Legal Services, Consulting, Flexible Services, CoSec and related offerings. Successful applicants will be given the opportunity to work across campaigns, content, events, digital channels, credentials and marketing technology, supporting a high-profile and growing area of the firm.

Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, and we operate a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model; however, as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Previous marketing and business development experience gained within a professional environment, ideally legal or alternate legal services.
  • Experience producing campaign assets such as articles, videos, case studies, whitepapers, infographics, client quotes or related marketing content.
  • Experience tracking performance data, including measures such as click-through rates, downloads, event conversions, lead quality, opens, clicks or conversions.
  • Experience supporting events, including content coordination, agendas, speaker briefs, collateral, follow-up packs, lead capture, reporting or logistics.
  • Strong IT and AI literacy, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
