We are recruiting a Business Development and Marketing Manager for our Property practice group to play a key strategic role, working closely with the Global Director of Business Development, Groups & Sectors and the Group Lead Partner, in shaping and delivering an effective marketing and business development strategy. This includes supporting the firm’s ambition to win profitable work from both existing and target clients, deepen client relationships, and drive greater market visibility and differentiation in our priority areas.

The role will be instrumental in accelerating sustainable growth by helping to prioritise the sectors, markets, geographies and clients where the Group has the strongest opportunity to succeed. By aligning leadership focus, investment, and resources against these priorities, the role ensures maximum impact and supports the firm’s ability to compete effectively in an increasingly competitive market. This role can be based out of our central London Office (though we may consider other locations for exceptional talent). Standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm with a three‑day in‑office, two‑day from home model, and flexible working requests are welcomed.

Candidate Overview

  • Extensive experience of undertaking a similar role in a partnership environment.
  • Direct knowledge and experience of Property and the built environment from either a top law firm or property consultancy is essential.
  • Evidence of a forward‑thinking or horizon‑scanning style – with demonstrable ability to proactively present opportunities to the group leadership.
  • Substantial experience of, and proven flair for, written communications – directories, awards submissions, social media posts, collateral.
  • Team management and mentoring skills.
  • Track record of managing multiple senior stakeholders and enabling growth by supporting partners winning profitable work, deepening relationships and building brand and reputation.
  • Ability to develop own professional network, internal and external, confident and polished in delivering presentations.
