We are recruiting a Senior Business Development & Marketing Executive to support the Head of Business Development for the Energy & Natural Resources sector in the design, delivery and execution of effective marketing and business development plans supporting activity across core Energy & Natural Resources markets such as Oil & Gas, Renewables, Water, Mining or Nuclear.

In this role, you will develop a strong understanding of the work we do, the clients we support and the markets in which they operate. You will work with client relationship teams and sector leadership to identify opportunities, support go-to-market planning, develop client propositions and deliver business development and marketing activity aligned to sector priorities. This will include supporting bids and capability statements, marketing collateral, thought leadership campaigns, events, sponsorships, legal directories, website content, trade body participation and social media activity.

Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, and we operate a 3 days in the office, 2 days from home working model, however as an inclusive employer, we are willing to consider any flexible working requests.

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Previous business development & marketing experience, ideally gained within a Legal or similar professional services environment.
  • Experience supporting senior stakeholders and contributing to activity that helps win profitable work, deepen client relationships and build brand and market reputation.
  • Experience developing and delivering marketing and business development plans aligned to sector, client or market priorities.
  • Experience supporting a range of BD and marketing activity, including bids, capability statements, marketing collateral, campaigns, events, sponsorships, legal directories, website content and social media.
  • Strong IT capability, including Microsoft Office products, with good AI literacy.
  • Strong organisational, time management and basic project management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
