Our growing but exclusive bench of legal experts have a variety of skills, specialisms and experience but they all enjoy quality legal projects best suited to their skillset and unparalleled support during their assignments.
We are seeking an additional Retail Banking Lawyer to join our bench of remarkable lawyers and in order to be considered for a place on our bench, you’ll need to meet a high standard in order to tackle the challenging projects we receive from our clients. We would like to hear from applicants who are able to demonstrate the following:
- Qualified solicitor with a strong academic background
- Experience gained within a financial institution and/or top tier private practice (secondment from private practice at a financial institution would be an advantage)
- Knowledge and experience of retail banking law is essential and ideally, regulated lending
- Flexible, communicative and adaptable
- Enthusiastic about embracing new work cultures
- Rapidly develop close, trusting relationships
- Availability to commence employment on a hybrid basis within the next few weeks
By joining the Vario Flexible Services bench, you’re not only joining our community of like-minded but diverse flexible professionals but you’re also joining the wider international firm of Pinsent Masons. In addition to the dedicated support you’ll receive from our Vario Account Management Team, you’ll benefit from access to our partners and client relationship teams, professional development lawyers, library services and other firm resources.
Work you will receive will come in the form of exciting short-term assignments, either from our multi-national clients or from internally within the firm, working alongside our Pinsent Masons colleagues. Assignments typically last at least six months and can suit those looking to work full-time, part-time or to work on an hourly basis. Our assignments are currently performed either remotely or in a hybrid capacity which opens up options to support Pinsent Masons and our clients across the UK and we welcome applications accordingly.
