Flexible Services from Pinsent Masons Vario provides freelance legal professionals access to high-quality legal work with our firm and prestigious clients in a fully flexible way.

Our growing, but exclusive bench of legal experts have a variety of skills, specialisms and experiences but they all enjoy quality legal projects best suited to their skillset and unparalleled support during their assignments.

We are now looking to expand our bench with an additional lawyer with experience of both consumer finance and payments matters. Ideally you will have at least 3 years’ PQE gained within a leading law firm or regulator, however we would also be interested in candidates with in-house experience.

Applicants should have a detailed knowledge of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 and the FCA’s rules in the Consumer Credit sourcebook and relevant industry guidance and the Payment Services Regulations 2017.

In order to meet the demands of the projects given by our clients you will also need to demonstrate the following:

• Qualified lawyer with a strong academic background
• Flexible, communicative and adaptable
• Enthusiastic about embracing new work cultures
• Able to rapidly develop close, trusting relationships

Many of our assignments are currently performed remotely, but we otherwise see opportunities to support Pinsent Masons and our clients across the UK and would welcome applications accordingly.
