Role Overview
Pinsent Masons is recruiting a Head of Business Development – Infrastructure & Real Estate to support our global priority sector.
The role will work closely with senior leaders across the firm to deliver growth initiatives, build client relationships, and position the practice as a thought leader in the built environment.
Responsibilities
- Marshalling the firm’s resources to support partners and associates in winning new, profitable work.
- Building, maintaining and deepening client relationships to drive long‑term partnership outcomes.
- Leading the design and implementation of regional and global sales enablement tools and thought‑leadership initiatives.
- Shaping and executing the growth strategy for the Infrastructure & Real Estate sector.
- Managing a high‑performing business‑development and marketing team across multiple offices.
- Collaborating across practice areas and sectors to deliver cross‑practice, high‑impact client solutions.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge of the Infrastructure & Real Estate markets.
- Proven experience leading business development for a global or regional practice group, sector or division.
- Demonstrable experience leading, motivating and developing high‑performing BD and marketing teams.
- Extensive business development and marketing experience within a legal or professional services environment.
- Track record of managing senior stakeholders and driving growth, supporting partners in winning profitable work, and building brand in target areas.
- Experience designing and implementing regional/global sales enablement tools such as playbooks, digital assets and product propositions.
- Leadership of high‑impact business‑development initiatives combining cross‑practice and cross‑sector collaboration.
- Proven experience in the research and delivery of regional/global thought leadership and activation.
- Experience using data‑driven insight and AI tools to inform strategy and improve effectiveness.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English.
Workplace model: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home with flexible working arrangements available.
