Investment Funds Associate

Bring your specialist funds expertise and commercially minded approach to a team trusted by leading fund managers and major institutional investors. Your role will see you:

• Take ownership of client matters and be given the opportunity to lead transactions with support from senior colleagues.
• Help with the strategic growth of the team and be given the freedom and confidence to grow client relationships for yourself and the wider team across the international network.
• Advise on the structuring, establishment, and operation of private investment funds across sectors including energy, infrastructure, climate & sustainability, impact, debt and private equity.
• Draft and negotiate core fund documentation such as limited partnership agreements, shareholder agreements, unit trust deeds, management agreements and administration agreements.
• Lead on investor negotiations, including handling side‑letter requests and preparing tailored fund review reports for institutional investors.
• Work closely with tax specialists, offshore counsel and administrators to deliver seamless, full‑service advice throughout fund formation and fundraising.
• Develop strong client relationships, support business development initiatives, and play an active role in the continued growth of the market‑leading Funds team.

Our Investment Funds team advises a broad range of clients, including private market fund managers, institutional investors, banks and financial services institutions, pensions and long‑term savings providers, and development finance institutions. The team is known for high‑quality work and technical excellence.

Location: Open to candidates based in London, Edinburgh or Glasgow.
