COMPANY SECRETARIAL PARALEGAL

Role Overview

Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team.

Our Vario MLS team helps clients to enhance the performance of their in-house teams through efficient resourcing solutions. We use a combination of lawyers, processes and technology to deliver outcomes for clients faster and smarter than traditional law.

Our Company Secretarial team is comprised of 15 colleagues based across the UK and Ireland. We are recruiting a Company Secretarial Paralegal to deliver corporate administration services to external clients of the firm. The successful candidate will play an important role in the growth of the Company Secretarial team and the success of the team.

You will be responsible for:

  • Supporting a portfolio of clients, with a focus on corporate administration and meeting management
  • Administration for AGMs, producing agendas, taking minutes, conveying decisions and handling meeting correspondence
  • Project management of large-scale matters
  • Creating reports for clients
  • Keeping up to date with regulatory/statutory changes that might affect the business and clients
  • Assisting with the preparation of precedents

Please note, this is a 9-month fixed term contract.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Chartered Company Secretary or LPC/Diploma qualification
  • Experience of completing company secretarial work either in-house or in a professional services environment
  • Experience of acting as Company Secretary for a variety of client types
