Responsibilities
Senior Project Manager will also be responsible for line management of the Digital Delivery & Change Senior Business Analyst, Project Managers, Business Analysts and Project Coordinators, monitoring performance, setting objectives, conducting 6-month check-ins and annual appraisals, and providing guidance and coaching on learning and development plans.
Work Information
Standard working hours are 9:30amβ5:30pm, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home; flexible working requests considered.
Qualifications
- Significant experience delivering complex, enterprise-wide transformation projects using waterfall, agile or hybrid approaches, ideally in a legal or financial services environment.
- Forward-thinking with experience of automation, artificial intelligence and emerging agentic AI capabilities, with a strong focus on identifying smarter, more efficient ways of working and driving innovation.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional project teams within a matrix delivery environment.
- Experience in procurement processes, selection and engagement of third-party providers and ongoing relationship management of third-party implementation partner and/or solution provider.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to ensure credibility with senior stakeholders, including the ability to negotiate, influence, persuade and challenge the status quo when required, demonstrating strong emotional intelligence and adapting styles to the person in front of you.
- Demonstrable experience of line management, coaching or mentoring within a project delivery function.
- Evidence of willingness to be flexible to get things over the line, including taking on tasks potentially outside of normal scope or offering to support other teams or management where needed.
