Role Overview

Vario is a market leading alternative legal services provider within the law firm, Pinsent Masons. It is unique in the legal sector. Vario is a practice group within Pinsent Masons which incorporates; Flexible Services, Consulting and Technology, Legal Project Management and Managed Legal Services (MLS). This role sits within our MLS team.

We are recruiting a Senior Paralegal with a strong background in asset management to join our Managed Legal Services team, supporting our Property group.

The role will provide the opportunity to work as part of a dedicated client team, delivering excellent service whilst playing a key role in managing a large and varied portfolio of assets.

The Senior Paralegal will be responsible for:

  • Draft, review and negotiate asset management documents including leases, licences, variations and surrenders, extensions, consents and other property documents
  • Support the management of leases, tracking key dates, handling renewals and terminations and maintaining compliance with lease terms
  • Assist with due diligence for property transactions, collecting and organising documents to facilitate risk assessment and compliance reviews
  • Support the wider client service team in ensuring compliance across client\'s asset management portfolio
  • Maintain organised matter management, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for client team and client’s use
  • Provide informal support to junior paralegals, sharing knowledge and helping develop best practices in document handling and portfolio asset management
  • Act as a liaison within the client service team and client’s in-house legal, estates and operational team helping to facilitate excellent communication and document flow as required

Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.

Candidate Overview

We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:

  • Previous Paralegal experience or equivalent specialising in property asset management
  • Experience of working in a large commercial law firm and understanding of the levels of service delivery required
  • Experience in using legal technology solutions and platforms to deliver excellent client service
