This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant (ACCA/ICAEW) or an experienced Audit Semi Senior with UK practice experience who is looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and supportive environment. As an Audit Semi Senior, you'll play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality audit and assurance services to a varied client portfolio. You'll be developing your technical expertise while gaining increasing responsibility, with clear progression towards an Audit Senior role. You'll be involved in planning and carrying out audit fieldwork, testing financial controls and substantive balances, preparing audit files, and assisting with the completion of statutory audits for clients across a range of sectors. You'll work closely with clients throughout the audit process, helping to resolve queries and ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently and to a high standard. You'll also have the opportunity to review work completed by more junior team members, strengthen your client-facing skills, and contribute to the overall success and growth of the audit team.

This role is ideal for someone who is actively studying towards their ACCA or ICAEW qualification, is eager to build on their existing UK audit experience, and is motivated to progress within a growing firm that values development, collaboration, and ambition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the planning, execution, and completion of statutory audits for a varied portfolio of clients across a range of industries
  • Perform audit fieldwork, including testing of financial controls, substantive testing, and analytical review procedures
  • Prepare high-quality audit working papers and ensure assignments are completed in line with relevant auditing standards and firm methodologies
  • Build strong and lasting relationships with clients, acting as a professional and reliable point of contact throughout the audit process
  • Work closely with Audit Seniors and Managers to deliver audits efficiently, identifying and communicating audit findings and recommendations
  • Support the supervision and mentoring of junior team members, reviewing their work where appropriate and providing guidance to aid their development
  • Manage your workload effectively, balancing multiple audit assignments and meeting deadlines while maintaining a high standard of client service
