Hi, I’m Elvin, Head of Design. We’re a high-growth, HR-Tech start-up building and selling software that helps in-house recruitment teams attract, hire, and onboard the right talent. Today, we have a strong foundation in place, with a mature product, rapid growth, strong product-market fit, and happy customers.

As our platform has expanded — more customers, deeper workflows, new personas, and increasing complexity — we’re evolving our Product & Engineering organisation. We’re moving to vertical, cross-functional squads: small, focused groups that own a product area end-to-end. Each squad includes a Product Manager, a Designer, and a group of Engineers working together daily. Our design team has also grown and matured over the past year. We’ve added ICs, strengthened our design system, and elevated our quality bar. Now we’re hiring an additional Product Designer to become the primary designer for a product vertical — shaping strategy, partnering with PMs and engineers, and driving clarity and consistency across a complex, evolving product.

This is a remote role based in the U.K., with a few in-person team meetups each year. Our HQ is in Jersey, UK, and our 80-person team is spread across the U.K. and U.S. Our Product & Engineering team is 26 people today across the U.K. and EU, with plans to expand significantly in 2026.

You’ll be the design owner for a specific product vertical — shaping UX patterns, workflows, and interaction models used by thousands of recruiters every day. Our platform is deep, flexible, and genuinely complex. You’ll design for multiple personas, edge-case-heavy admin workflows, and large interconnected systems. We value people who’ve worked in environments like ours — B2B SaaS startups or scale-ups with lean teams, complex products, and lots of ambiguity.

About the Role:

  • Own design for your product vertical — from discovery and problem definition through UX strategy, interaction design, UI, prototyping, and supporting delivery.
  • Partner daily with your PM and engineering counterparts to understand problems, validate solutions, and ship improvements that meaningfully move metrics.
  • Create simple, elegant solutions for complex B2B workflows and multi-state admin interfaces.
  • Produce polished, production-ready design artifacts in Figma with clear rationale and edge-case coverage.
  • Bring systems thinking — understanding how each flow impacts the wider product architecture.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, component libraries, and shared UX patterns.
  • Engage in user research and customer conversations to stay close to real workflows and constraints.
  • Present your work clearly and convincingly, helping stakeholders understand tradeoffs and decisions.

About You:

  • Senior-level product design experience focused on B2B SaaS web applications, ideally within complex, multi-persona platforms.
  • Experience as the primary or sole designer for a product area, partnering daily with PM + Engineering (huge plus if done in a startup/scaleup under ~300 people with lean squads).
  • Expertise designing complex admin workflows, multi-state interfaces, system-driven logic, and high-variance edge cases.
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset — understanding how flows affect broader architecture, patterns, and product cohesion.
  • Figma-based product design experience; using shared design systems, component libraries, reusable styles, and production-ready UI patterns.
  • End-to-end UX and UI ownership — discovery → research → ideation → prototyping → UI → shipped features.
  • Ability to operate with high autonomy, proactively clarify requirements, and manage ambiguity in fast-moving environments.
  • Experience communicating design decisions clearly, framing tradeoffs, and collaborating tightly with engineering.
  • Huge plus if you have experience with HR tech or talent acquisition products.
  • Based in the UK.

What does success look like? (First 3–6 months)

  • Establishing yourself as the design owner for your vertical — building trust with PM + engineering.
  • Shipping meaningful improvements that make workflows simpler, clearer, and more consistent.
  • Strengthening UX coherence, interaction quality, and UI craft within your domain.
  • Influencing and improving cross-product UX patterns and design system components.
  • Bringing user insights into decision-making and guiding the team toward clarity.
  • Raising the bar for speed, communication, and execution within your squad.

What We Offer:

  • Comprehensive healthcare – Excellent medical, dental, & vision coverage for you and your family.
  • Unlimited holidays – Take the time you need to rest and recharge.
  • Mental health support – Unlimited, immediate access to professional counseling via Spill.
  • Retirement contributions – 401k or pension contributions depending on your location.
  • Remote-first – Work where you’re most productive, with flexibility and trust as the default.
  • Equity with real upside – Share in the long-term value you help create.
  • Fully paid parental leave – Up to 16 weeks of paid leave for new parents.
  • Learning budget – Annual funds for courses, books, or anything that supports your growth.

We’re changing the way companies hire, and rewriting the rules of recruitment. We’re a high-growth HR tech company building software that makes hiring faster, fairer, and more human, fixing the broken processes that make it hard for great candidates and great companies to find each other. Founded in 2018, we bootstrapped our way to 500+ customers and $5M ARR before raising private equity funding in 2023 to support our next stage of growth. Today, we’re a 90-person team across the U.K. and U.S., serving more than 1,000 organizations worldwide. We scale deliberately, with sensible unit economics and no layoffs, because we’re building for the long term—not the next funding round. Our product is deep and configurable enough to support complex hiring workflows, yet simple enough for teams to love using every day. That balance is what makes Pinpoint different. We back it up with genuine care, including fast (under 90 seconds) support from real people who know the product. Our culture is built on genuine transparency and values we actually use to make decisions. Even as we’ve moved past early-startup noise, everyone here still shapes how we operate—taking ownership, staying curious, and solving problems proactively. As we scale, we balance structure with flexibility while holding ourselves to a high bar for respect and kindness. If you’re excited by meaningful problems, high ownership, and working with smart, kind teammates, we’d love to hear from you.
